i found a giant box of them and took some quick+sloppy pictures. i would like to say that eventually i will introduce you to the rest of them, too, but you know how i am, and i probably won't.

marissa gave me this little guy not so long ago, due to an unfortunate leprechaun incident. but the important thing is, that elephant has measles! and i really really like christmas specials on tv, and sasquatch.

i feel like this might be "snowflake #2" or something else kinda lame like that. the original snowflake was really classy and had a little cub named snowball that sat in her apron pocket. but aunt jenny got this one for me; she may or may not have been my actual aunt at that time. but her and aunt karen were my really COOL aunts when i was little like that, and i would sneak up behind them and tickle them on the back. and we would go to the mall and i'd get a tootsie roll and they'd get gum. and once they got me dinosaur eggs!

this is bert, obviously. my big brother had a bert doll and it was his favorite comfort object. his bert wore pajamas, and there were all sorts of stories about their adventures together, and he was really well worn. i wanted a bert so i could be just like evan.

this is kokopelli! i don't know if you know the story about him, but he is a crazy hunchback flute player. check out the rad hawk!

i wish i could remember his name; i don't. but it was something snooty, like preston or something like that. his nose is even stuck in the air! he's the sort of bear that vacations in nantucket. i made him those pants, they have a dockers label on the butt.

this is tigger. he's really cute.

she must have had a name; they all had names. but i don't remember it. but she's quite a sad-looking red koala.

evan brought him back from somewhere and said he was a dolphin. he's blatantly a shark, but that's alright.

i wish i could remember more of their names. but this guy suffers from some confusing personality disorders. note the monkey costume? poor guy.

this is mandy! i believe she's from one of those grab-machines at a pancake restaurant. i used to look at her nose and think it looked like a big brown peanut m&m. she reminds me of my dad, and live near rochester NY.

one of my few non-animals! i feel like she probably didn't even have a name. i wasn't much of a doll kid. but she's from the dominican republic, which is pretty neat.

this is andre! he's from monterray bay. he swims around on his back eating clams all day!

this is arny, the armadillo. he used to wear a red bandana around his neck.

blossom and bamboo! i used to drink a lot of pineapple juice, and if you drank enough you could send away for these guys. i drank and drank! there were several pineapples, and you could pick which one you wanted. i wanted the one with the baby. which is funny, you know, since pineapples don't have babies like that.

a well-loved paddington bear. from deepest darkest peru. he definitely inspired my senior dressup day costume.

sarah! the triceratops. dad and evan and i went to the museum one day in rochester and i really wanted her because you can flip her "hood" back and forth.

pepita! my dad brought me a treasure troll back from one of his business trips, and i was really excited, because you could rub the jewel in its belly and make a wish. i wished for a baby monkey. i was really disappointed that one never appeared in my bed or something. so we were at the zoo in DC and this one came and wrapped its arms around my overalls. i used to wear a ton of overalls.

jemima puddleduck! the pond at the golf course near my grandparents' house is full of ducks, and we'd always go and feed them, and jemima would come along too.

these are a pretty recent addition. their paws velcro together and their lips magnet together and i like them because they remind me of kissing!!

WOOOOO!!! yeah i don't know.

i feel like maybe someone made her for me i don't remember. but she's cute okay the end !
