Play Stuff

So I just got word that the play did not advance, despite our best efforts and extreme optimism.  Having not seen the competition that beat us out to the top ten, I can't really understand why.  My assumption is a matter of taste, and possibly degree of difficulty.  Anyway, we get one more performance for the theater company, and possibly another

I'm sorry to hear that--I'm sure it was fantastic and that you gave it your all. Anyone in the world of theatre knows that things can be terribly unjust sometimes.

I'm sure it was great. If you're proud of the work you ended up with then all is fine. And at least you get another performance.
