So on a whim walking past East Village Thrift Shop around the corner from me, I decided to browse the tuxedo section.  For 35 bucks, I found an almost perfect Brad tux.  Almost perfect sans 4 things

The pocket thing isn't so much an issue if you are having the lining replaced anyway-- you could just put a new patch-style pocket on the correct side on the new lining in the lining fabric (or spend the time making a more proper set-in pocket). You can just cover over the existing pocket on the wrong side with the new lining fabric. It's what I have done with all of my Brad jackets and it really isn't much of an extra step. Doing a simple patch-style inside lining pocket is cheating but the end result is certainly functional.
