Personal~~
No but seriously the rest of the stuff is really boring and long so and about my exchange soo...~
Since I've now posted three fan fictions, I've deemed myself worthy of making a boring personal post ;D
Less than a week ago I finally, finally was told where I would be placed for my Japan exchange~~ In addition to that, I know all three of my families (because not just one can take me for the whole 10 months ><), my school, etc etc information~
My mum sent me a text message during my line off at school, saying that we got sent the info via email and that I would be placed in Okayama. Of course I had never heard of it... luckily my Japanese friend happened to be sitting right with me~ When I told her, she laughed and said it was a really rural place but.. I looked at it and it's bigger than MY city!! 700,000 people, double the population of the place I live now~~ Everyone told me I would be sent to a rural place but if anything.. I'm upsizing in that sense ><>< It's exciting to think I'll be in a more city environment~~ (plus I gather the more city-like it is, the easier it will be to buy things.. HSJ things... ><><><)
Apart from that, the closest major city to it is Osaka~ All I can think is that a month after I arrive, I'm pretty certain HSJ are performing in Osaka.........................................
As for my families... Sometimes I wonder if the exchange people do something similar to that Wife Swap show, how they give the wives completely opposite families to make it harder for them to cope. Since I'm more or less an only child, I guess they want me to learn more and get new experiences..
In the first family I have two sisters, both a year and two years younger than me~ Then in Family 2 I have four siblings, including a girl who I think is my age, 14 year old twins and a four year old brother (WHO LOOKS SO CUTE OHMYGOSH). Finally in the last family I have three siblings, 21, 18 and 16~ All together, that's 9 siblings I will have during the exchange. Do I even know that many people...??~~
My Japanese friend and I also looked at the website of the school I'll be attending, Okayama Minami (South) High School (I stay at the same school the who time, even though I change families). I'm not sure if I really get it, but it seemed like there were 4ish or so courses there.. Most of them seemed pretty boring, but there was one that was like... Lifestyle?? I don't know, my friend translated it, but it seemed to have things like cooking and life skills, as well as manners and things like tea ceremony and flower arranging~~ It seemed like.. housewifey things~ So I really hope I can choose which course I do, so I can do that one~~ :D:D
We looked at the clubs, too, but I have no idea which club I should do............ D; I wanted to do the choir one but the school doesn't have it~~ D;
There's obviously more information, like how my school uniform will cost about $800... and the pets I'll have and my host parents and all but I've done enough rambling now~ I'll actually be shocked if anyone reads this anyway ;D
