It seems that tonight I was the only one that even enjoyed HBP in the slightest. Yes, there were weak points, but for what the director had to work with without turning it into a four hour long movie it was quite good. He was able to go through, hit on the major points (and woah, actual quidditch this time). Yes... no ending epic battle scene. ( Read more... )

My deal with it is that he chose to focus on the inconsequential crap, like all the little teen-romance drama, rather than putting in actual interesting scenes. Where was Bill? Fenrir was there but he was pointless.

Idk it could've been better. Could have been WORSE, too, don't get me wrong, but still.

Yeah, they did leave quite a bit out, but I go in to the movie like I've never read the book before so I can enjoy it. Everyone around me kept saying "zomg blah blah the book" oh well.

What I didn't like is that they left out the whole end battle scene which sucked. Majorly. They didn't even go into detail on WHY Snape was the HBP, but I can deal.
