Day 60: I Smell Like Chordite

I went shooting today with my dad at one his friend’s house out in the country today in preparation for this weekend’s trip to Knob Creek for the annual machine gun shoot.

I got to fire a military and civilian M-4s, an AR-15, Colt .45 1911, an AK-47, and a MAC-10, and those were all a lot of fun, and rest assured, the world is safe from many, many,

Dude, you want some kick? Black powder weapons. Holy crap. I have vast respect for the sharp-shooter units of old. VAST RESPECT.

Between the inconsistent travel of the bullets, smoke from the powder, and the kick, I'm surprised anyone hit anything when not firing in an infantry line.
