Knob Creek is flooded.

In other news…

In lieu of a social life I have been cooking.  A lot.

maybe that's why i've never enjoyed cooking - i haven't been getting drunk at the same time...

There is a short, short, short list of things NOT made better by boozing it up.

Cooking is nowhere near that list. In fact, cooking anything with booze means you get to say "one for the dish and one for the cook," and then take a long pull off the bottle.

I say that out loud all the time. Alone.
When there's no booze in the dish.

And I'm not cooking.

I got problems.

I always say one for the cook and two for the cook. Then I'm 3 shots in before I realize the fridge is empty... Oddly enough, bourbon-battered grilled cheese sandwich was not as bad as I thought it might be.
