Adam Sandler and Mike Meyers both have new movies coming out, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan and the Love Guru, respectively, and if you’re like most people, it settled into the dull, throbbing, white noise that is the majority of the summer movie season, and I wish I could be that way.

The six million dollars per episode of Friends it took to just cast the principal actors could've built schools or gone to medical research. A million dollars per episode, for six people to play pretend. I'm glad I'm off to suckle that obviously indiscriminate teat.

What bothers me is that I used to consider both of these guys funny. Yet they obviously lack the ability to take a step back and say "Jesus Christ, I haven't made a good movie in the past 10 years"

re: zohan. This one really makes me mad b/c the idea of israeli paramilitary gone hair-dresser is a funny concept, only to be 90's SNL castrated by the sandler/schneider comedy machine. poo.
