Anyone in Indiana: how bad was all the water to you?

We had a bit of seepage in our basement (everything’s fine, except my comics), though our immediate neighbors have water waist high in their basement, so we got off lucky.

A few of the small towns around us are completely underwater.  A small village, maybe fifteen miles away from our house, had a ( Read more... )

parts of my apartment complex had like 3-4 feet of water in it. near the office, water was up to peoples license plates. i guess only about 12-15 apartments themselves were flooded, but numerous cars got fucked. most of them had water inside, all the way up to the seats. i got some pictures. ill try and remember to post them soon. we live on the second floor, and the water near our apartment only flooded the parking lot at the most 6-7 inches, but i moved our cars in time so they were fine. i was gonna call you when i heard farther south got flooded much worse, but i dont have your cell phone number anymore because im a terrible person. i second luke eating thousands of angry dicks.

Yeah, according to Channel 8, our area got close to 11 inches. Anything resembling a culvert is gone. The pipes are still there, but there was so much water, it just went around the pipe, and washed away the road.

Like, I said, we got off lucky, a couple of our neighbors, had culverts built into their driveway, and were either trapped in their homes, or they couldn't reach it for a few days.

There ain't any water around here in the City outside of the air, but it feels like 10 billion degrees everywhere. I just married a very large fan. We're intimate.
