So, thanks for all the advice guys. The Rhubarb crumble was a success. I roasted it just like you said Phoebes with sugar and added lemon to it under recommendation and it worked.
It was so exciting to eat something freshly grown and not from a supermarket. It's definitely got more life energy within it- even when cooked!

If anyone out there has any tips about growing organicly, it's much appreciated.
I do have one book which is fantastic: The Organic Garden by Christine and Michael Lavelle but apart from that its up to me, random advice and angel/fairy guidance....

Its so nice to get freshly cut rhubarbs from your neighbour's garden!
Apparently roasting them with sugar is the best way to cook the damn things...any ideas?
The itchiness seemed to have been mild sunburn with extreme paranoia.

I've just spend some hours gardening in the heat and have withdrawn to the comfort of the lounge due to the rain. Having nothing to amuse me i have become acutely aware of a spread itch on my lower back (yes, sacral chakra issues!)which has now spread to my left thumb. Im really paranoid about having scabies!
