Just a little something that wouldn't let me sleep. I'm at a bit of an impasse with Next in Line right now, but this is an occurrence that is mentioned later in that story, briefly, and it seemed to want to be written out. A cute occurrence between Kellen and his best friend, the junkie.

I really, really like this. I love your ability to tell a story without the use or need for dialogue. It's very well told and descriptive, but not overly so that makes it tl;dr and unreadable. I also like the realism of Kellen's actions and reactions once the kiss with Jimmy goes a bit further than just playing around.

I sorta didn't even realize it had absolutely no dialogue til the end. That's usually the meat and potatoes of my stories, adds to characterization and stuff, so I was a bit surprised when I realized this came out, with no dialogue, and that I actually liked it that way. And your reassurance is good to have - I know it's not just me now. I'm glad you liked. ♥
