Yay. I got my copy of Gazette's Nameless Liberty Six Guns last Monday. Actually I got my hands on it on Wednesday because it went to my dad's address but aanyway. I love it. It's great. I cried when it ended. They cried too. The whole live was just beautiful. And Ruki's "speech"... Waa.
Well, on Tuesday [I think it was Tuesday] I went to Riikka's, on Wednesday I went home and straight from there I had to go to the train station. Then in Ylivieska I had to wait about 30 minutes for my dad 'cause he had some meeting or something and couldn't come earlier. And no, the train doesn't go to Nivala anymore so instead of sitting in a train for ten more minutes, you have to drive all the way from Ylivieska to Nivala and it takes about 25 min. It's not like I'm complaining or anything 'cause it doesn't bother me but 10 years ago the train went to Nivala and you didn't have to waste time and money on driving.
On Thursday I woke up at about 10am thanks to Emilia who desperately wanted to go buy food for the weekend before 12 o'clock. At 3pm Mirka and Laura came to pick me up and after we found Mirka's boyfriend Jupe, we started the two hour drive to Kalajoki.
I don't even know why I went to Kalajoki for the whole three days. Last year I was there for only one day at I think I liked it better but at least this time I had the chance to go to the camping area. You can't go there if you haven't bought the three day ticket.
Anyway. The first day sucked. We got there around 5pm and called Mari who had our tickets. Mari and Emilia didn't come with us but they were supposed to leave at the same time as we did. Well.. We called them and they said that they were still in Nivala! lsekbgllwerbgl. We had to wait for at least one and a half hours. Then they finally came and we found our cottage. There was a pond right next to the cabins and there were ducks in it. Whee. I like ducks.
On the first day we saw Apulanta [for the second time] and they were good as usual. Our neighbors were very nice. They were already drunk when we got there. And they had visited the sex shop that was on the camping area.. Maybe it's better if I don't tell more about it. But they were funny.
I too lazy to write about the whole weekend 'cause 1)nothing very interesting happened 2)I'm tired 3)it would be a long and boring text. But anyway, long story "short":
Friday: We saw Stam1na and Mokoma. I've already seen both of them live more than once, actually I've seen Stam1na four times now, but still they're great. Nothing really happened. I was the only one who didn't drink [again] but I really don't even care. I've never been interested in that stuff. I'm always the one who takes care of other people when they're drunk. And I like it that way.
Saturday: We went to see Sturm und Drang, Lauri Tähkä & Elonkerjuu and Ari Koivunen. I've never listened to any them but they're all pretty good live. I still think Ari Koivunen has a nice voice but I just can't respect him as much as he probably deserves just because he doesn't write his songs himself. But that's just my opinion. And Sturm und Drang played really good covers. Considering the fact that they're all about 12 years old. Except the singer who, if I remember correctly, is 16 or 17.
Then we left at about 3am because Mirka got food poisoning and Ulla, Jonna and I were just too tired to stay. The others stayed there 'til next morning.
So basically the whole weekend I was looking after my friends so they wouldn't kill themselves. Our neighbors on the other side of the pond liked to go swin naked in the dirty pond. I got bitten. By my friends Anssi and Markus. They both bit me on my shoulder and there's a nice bruise there. But anyway. I kinda liked the three days anyway. I don't regret going there, although next year I might go for just one day. I don't know, we'll see.
