Ithilas would just like to say that the decision she has been agonizing over for the past couple of hours has not been an easy one at all.  Being as she's not the greatest updater in the world she still cringes at the thought of the word HIATUS.

OF COURSE you have to take care of RL. Of course we'll wait to read whatever you write. Of course you must take care of any crisis before it becomes an emergency.

You should be writing for you, not for us, and doing whatever you need to fulfill yourself and make yourself a happy person. Please don't worry about anything else.

I hope life will start cooperating for you soon, doggone it, and your mom will feel better. I hope your nana's days will pass easily, and I hope you will find a path to peace.

*hugs back* Thanks. That's exactly why I'm taking a break for now. I need time to get centered again before I can start writing just for the sake of it again. And I think life just has a vendetta against the world at the moment because everyone seems to be having a bad year. Maybe it means that next year will be good to balance out the bad from this year?

And oh dear gods... you used a different user pic. I think I'm in shock.

I hope next year balances out this year. It's been a tough year for everyone I know and it would be nice if there were justice in this world.

I like the new icons although it'll be a little difficult remembering that you no longer use just the one anymore.

Gods I hope next year is better than this year.

*hugs back* I figured that I needed a break when I found myself about to delete my stories from FF.net. The fact that my friends made the comment that I've been snarky lately made me realize that I need time to chill and get back to being mellow. FF.net is not helping with that at the moment.
