P.G.Wodehouse books

If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. I am fixing to start the P.G.Wodehouse books and have ordered one from my library,but can anyone tell me which is first in the series? And is it necessary to read the first one?

Please comment! I can't wait to start reading them!!

Well, that depends on which series you want. ;) You're probably talking about the Jeeves and Wooster books, though, right? It's not really necessary to read them in order, but I think the first one is Carry On, Jeeves.

Well,I got the book today and it's not Jeeves and Wooster but another called"Indiscretions of Archie". I started it and it is absolutly delicious!! I love it!
