Well,I taught my first lesson in 2 weeks today. It was okay. My student's G string wouldn't budge and I was having a tough time with it and I finally had to get my big brother to help me move it. Thank goodness he did. I would have used up the whole lesson time trying to tune the violin ( Read more... )

I tried to leave a comment here last night, but couldn't, so I'm glad you've added me to your frieds. I expect it's alright if I add you back? I came accross your journal via blackswans/scrapidee's (she's my cousin) and really liked the look of it. Check out my interests - it looks like we've got a bit in common! I'm looking forward to reading your journal and getting to know you better! And is your birthdate really 1991?

Do you teach violin? That is so cool! I would love to (I've been playing for nine years) but I don't feel like I have enough experience yet:-( You must be very patient.

I like the look of your journal. I can tell you're a huge fan! And your Faramir icon is very cool. He's one of the best charactors, IMHO. (He's better in the book:-)) I just watched the extended edition of RotK on Monday - it was pretty cool!

Anyway, I'll go. Looking forward to more communication in the future!

Sure it's alright to add me back!!! I love getting new friends with the same interests!!

And,yes,my birthday is May,18,1991. I will be 14 this year. I know that sounds young to be teaching violin,but if you looked at me you wouldn't think 13. I am taller than my mom and almost everyone I meet mistakes for 16 to 17!!! I've been playing for almost as long as you. Come this May,I will have been playing 9 years. How old are you? If you don't mind my asking. :) :)

I can not deny it!! I am a huge fan of LOTR!!! Aragorn,Faramir and Gandalf are the best chararcters,movie or book! And I was glad Faramir had a lot more dialogue in the extened edition.

I'm was sixteen on 30th September last year, and of course I don't mind you asking:-)

I liked the extra dilogue too, in both RotK and TTT - it made him seem so much nicer when you saw the extended version of The Two Towers, because they really botched his charactor in the cut version I thought.

How many students do you have? Must be fun!

Faramir was definatly a lot nicer in EE!!!

I have at present:7 students. I do have fun with them. I have been teaching since September of 2003. It gets old at times and some students are more easy to teach than others but it's all a part of life.

I sometimes worry about having enough patience with the ones that don't practice very muuct at all!! So I have to really work at that!!
