It was "only" 1300$, but yeah, I wouldn't have been able to afford it until this year.

hmm. I think something like that is well worth it (if you can afford the new graphics card/computer to go with it). I'm certainly going to have to add it to my list of things to get when I get back to the states, though.

Oh, good point, you've got to have dual-link DVI. I got a Macbook Pro (instead of a Macbook) specifically for that.
