Slacking has ended. I think. I hope.
Time to retroactively resume LJ activity. I think I can manage the routine this time.

These buildings are amazing. Bank. Bank. Bank. Bank. Stock exchange. Bank. I've never been to Wall Street, so this is the most concentrated actual power I've ever seen in one place. I can see why Larry Smith walks around here sometimes. Macroeconomics just got a little realer.

With dozens of people at the gate, I'm surprised I'm the only one sitting on the floor and looking out the window, trying to figure out what all the equipment does and how it interacts. Or maybe I'm not surprised.

Damn but that was an awesome week. My fears of boredom stand wholly unfounded. I got to do more design in a week than I normally do in a month, and everything came together perfectly. We also had some great dinners (courtesy of my boss, who's from Italy), drinks, and conversations.
Now come the inevitable days of slacking.

Turns out I have to go to Utah next week for work. I wanted a break after the term, so I'm not looking foward to it.

Credit card: Screw you, I sleep in a pocket.
Me: I need my debit card!
One day passes.
Me: I have a bed!
