So I'm writing my update from beautiful Fire Island. Outdoors actually, enjoying the gorgeous weather and the view of the atlantic. About 2 times a week i'll be visiting my new school for work here. It's really quaint actually, the smallest elementary school i've ever seen. Only 1 kindergardener, and no class numbering more than single digits. THe ( Read more... )

Plans for the showers are back at the building inspector's office today. Would have been yesterday, if they didn't close so early.

Glad to hear you like your new job and that other things are going well for you.

I'll be back at LIONE this next event. You can blame Laura for my reappearance. Well, she is the one I'm blaming the most even if I could blame others after my day at the Renn Faire.

On you thought of pride points it has some merit, but also remember they came up with those to give rewards to those that help do special things for them - like event setup, special camp cleanup/repair/make things days, etc. Though the ones that would buy them are the ones with the money and don't always get to do setup stuff and what not because of distance traveled or other reasons. I know I sure don't have the money for buying them and I rather use the ones I earned for char blankets rather than sell them even when my budget is tight. Just my two cents on that one.

See but there is a trade in them, put a message in the marketplace saying you have x to sell and you'll get an email and probably be able to sell them for at least $10 a PP. I'd rather see people spending those PP on stuff at lione rather than selling them and i'd rather see the money that would have been made selling them go straight to lione. That way you're truely paying people with something they can only trade in for use at lione.

It'll be nice to have ya back, i'm sure you'll have a blast :)

very true - I don't think LIONE should have allowed sale of them to other players. You can use them to buy ANYTHING LIONE related up to half that items value. I've even used them to pay for part of an event once just becuase I was 25 bucks short due to gas costs. The ones I have now will boost my chars blanket this event, though I don't know if I'll use them all just in case I need to fall back on some for other LIONE money needs.

Lione is starting a script exchange with a couple of other larps. One of them is Prophecy, which is cool since I already NPC for the game. :D
