your writing thrills me. will you write for my magazine? i can just go through your old entries and edit some stuff together, you wouldn't even have to lift a finger. my 'zine is called the DownTown, it's for downtown johnson city, and it lists all the stuff that's goin on in the bars and venues and galleries and shit. your writing would fit right in, most of the people that read it are ragin alcoholics like you and me. let me know if you're down, bro.

haha, this timing is perfect. my band, Junk (think the red hot chili peppers meets the mars volta) is playing at halo on july 22nd which is next friday. at midnight, it will be july 23rd and officially my birthday. which means i'll be 24 and getting sloppy drunk. you should come into town, hang out in the bars on the strip, i'll show you around, we'll drink it up, you can check out my band, and write about the bars here. that would make a great piece: a professional drinker's look at our town
