23 degrees C is actually cooler than I have our air conditioner set to at the moment, but it's a pretty warm temperature to have one's house when there's not frigid air moving around from the air conditioner to make it feel cooler in a few local spots. I can't imagine wanting to bundle up at 24C, unless I were ill.
Well, a lot of a person's comfort when it comes to temperature is psychological. When it's in the middle, the mind turns to the thought of being warm, and you feel the need to bundle up because it can only get colder from there. In the summer, it's the opposite, it's hot outside, so you need to stay cool.
It's actually a rather interesting way on how the human mind works.
I won't deny that having the snow piling up in drives outside the window may have contributed somewhat to my wish to stay warm. Evidently snow does not have that effect on you, for some reason...
