Where did you study at in Belgium? I'm living close to the Belgian border in France, so I've traveled quite a bit around there.

Hey! I studied in Mons, which is quite close to the border. Whereabouts are you?

I'm in Valenciennes. I know Mons isn't too far from here. There are signs for it. Plus, the one time I took the train from the border at Quevrain to Brussels, Mons was only a stop or two away. I've heard it's pretty, but I guess spending more than a day or two there would be a bit much. Not that where I'm living is much more interesting at all.

Yeah, I could've stayed a weekend in Mons and then left, but I was there for THREE MONTHS, but I swear to God, it felt like three years. I always preferred Flanders to Wallonie. What are you doing in Belgium? Have you lived there the whole time, or have you made a big life change?
