Anime Coloring Tutorial [Bakura]

Learn how to go from
to
in PS 7





First, crop your image to 100x100 pxl, and use Auto Contrast, Auto Levals, and sharpen once.



Then, add a new flood fill layer in #ECD6AF, and set it on multiply, 100%.



Next, add another flood fill layer in #1B2B4F, and set it to exclusion, 100%.



Add this light texture (by ianthinae), and set it to screen, 100%.



And another light texture, this one (by ianthinae) on screen, 70%.



Duplicate your base, and set it to softlight, 100%.



Duplicate your base again, desaturate it, and set it to softlight, 100%. I added Gaussion Blur on 0.5%.



Create a new adjustment layer in Color Balance. In Midtones inpute these settings: Cyan: +45, Magenta: -30, Blue: +45. Set this layer to softlight, 100%.



Duplicate the your base once more, and set it to softlight, 30%. I added the Gaussion Blur on 0.5% again.



Finally, create another flood fill layer, with #18264D. Set this layer to exclusion, 60%.



Add your text, and you're done! :D
