The seventh book has just changed my perspective of the books. :/ The HP books were part of my childhood, so my love for them will never really be gone... but as for the story itself, it's been ruined for me. D: It's easy pretending the epilogue didn't happen, but personally, I hated the entire book, so the whole series takes a hit. :/

Although book burning has always been upsetting to me, I'll make an exception for one copy and one tiny insignificant section.

I was so disappointed it started to turn me off the fandom. There's still a lot a like, especially in the first few books, but that ending was a piece of crap. If I had actually paid money for that junk, I would have taken a boxcutter and cut the epilogue out, but having an inkling of what was coming, I just got the book from the library.
