it's a beautiful day... for an lj post?
i'm thinking that i probably should have gotten off my ass, thrown some clothes on, and took skandar out for pictures, but note that i'm only "thinking" about this. i did take a few pictures of him, since he now has his eyes and wigs on for fall.

Wow he looks great! The eyes have a nice vibrant look to them, and the wig is fab. How are masterpiece eyes? I've always wanted to buy a pair, but I think I won't like them since sometimes I find them nice looking, and others not so. I've got 2 soom eyes that are not bad, but I'm a fan of urethane eyes. Yes, those nice expensive ones.

Finding the wig I want for my Sard has been a pain too. Apparently a nice dark brown wig with waves is near impossible. Wish I could style wigs myself, but my idea of styling is turning a blow dryer on and grabbing the brush. What kind of wigs are you looking for? Maybe I've ran into one, or can help you out.

masterpiece eyes actually makes some really nice eyes, and there are options you can add to your order to create a "custom" eye, like changing the pupil, adding metallics, etc. BUT their customer service is poor poor poor(!) and your order will take months to ship.

skandar's burning ambers look kind of flat, which i wasn't expecting since klaus' eyes seem to have a lot of depth. but i like the burning ambers because they fit with his character.

yeah, styling wigs? who can do that? not i.
i'm looking for wigs that look like what i drew in my faceup sketches...

i need something that's short, black, and flairs out in the back, but minus the ears. :P

Well, I can't say right off from memory that I've seen styles that are exactly like this, which of course would be convenient.

I could see this one working for the first wig once some cutting and gel magic does its thing. As for the white wig, I think that can only be done by cutting a wig. I assume you've already checked out most of the other companies' supplies.

There is this site that can actually do customizable wigs from photos/drawings that you provide. This might be the best solution if you're iffy on having to style it yourself.
