I stumbled upon a collection of scary stories that I used to read all of the time when I was little at my aunt's house. The stories themselves were never THAT scary... it was the artwork that did the trick. I found quite a few of these pictures online, and they STILL creep me out. I have to admit, Stephen Gammell is a very good artist.

Ok, those are VERY creepy. Ick. I wish I saw them BEFORE now. Cuz I'm supposed to go to sleep. Hmmmm. :S

Yeah, and these are supposedly stories for KIDS. I was traumatized when I first looked at those books when I was about... six or seven. Creepy creepy creepy!
