Nooooooo!! Johnny! :(((( I am sooooo dissapoint. I was really looking forward to seeing him skate again soon.. *sigh*

ETA: I do agree with those who are saying that they hope this means he'll come back stronger next year. I just want him to do ONE more year because next year's nationals are 45 minutes away from me, and if he does it, I will SO be there.

Ooh, that's close enough I could conceivably go (I'm in OH). It would be awesome to see him skate, in person. *hopes even more that Johnny does Nationals next year*

I guess, if he feels like he hasn't got a good chance at Worlds, it's best to withdraw... but I was hoping he would be aiming to show Evan (and Yevgeny) who's boss.

Now that's really disappointing. Still, he did look a bit tired from all this attention, so maybe it's better this way-some fresh air to relax. But I'll never forgive him if he suddenly retires after this.

I'm disappointed but Johnny needs to do what's best for him. I hope he will be back next year better than ever. But even if retiring from competition forever is what's best for him I'll still support him.
