In "All Creatures Great And Small", James Herriot describes his attempts to put a cow's prolapsed uterus back in place as "like trying to thread a needle with a sausage". I disturbed some people by using that description to refer to scenes involving intercourse between two characters with an extreme size difference when discussing the fic I'm cowriting, and I'm now wondering how I can work the description into the actual fic.
