♥What Are Your Views On♥
Religion: I was raised catholic and nowadays, I am... Agnostic. Being raised in a slightly religious household makes you question a lot (Or it made me question a lot) and I am torn. I do not like it when people attempt to push their views upon others, nor do I like it when people ignorantly hate others because of their different views. I think, the best policy would be for everyone to be educated a little bit on the different religions of the world and perhaps then there wouldn't be so much blood over religion. I know it'll never happen, but a girl can hope. I'm not sure if my answer made much sense.
Abortion: I am pro-choice. I feel that it is my body and I have the choice, and I know some of you will argue "what about the unborn baby/fetus, shouldn't it get a choice too?" Perhaps, but I know that if I were raped I would not want to carry something for nine months. I feel that it should not be used as birth control, that is wrong. If you are going to have sex, be careful about it, using protection is actually quite a cool thing to do. I know though, rape occurs and I feel it'd be wrong to deny victims the chance to have an abortion, being pregnant is a very emotional thing as is being raped and the two combined must be hell, at least in my opinion.
Aliens: It's so big out there, I hope there is aliens. Now, if you mean illegal aliens, hrm. Interesting topic, I suppose.
George W. Bush: I really do not like George Bush. I did not agree with the war on Iraq. I feel like he is not being honest with us, but then again no president can be completely honest. I never wanted him as president in the first place. There is something about him, I do not like. He's too Republican for my liking. Yes, I realise these are lame reasons, but hush.
Drugs: I've done drugs before and now I will occassionally smoke pot. Drugs can be such a wonderful exprience, but it's not worth it really. Addiction and death and horrible complications can arise from it, I think people need to be more educated in drugs and I don't mean to use scare-tatics, people should learn the wondrous effects drugs can have and the horrible, kids will keep on trying drugs and there is no way to completely stop it and so I say we educate people on ALL the side-effects, good and bad.
Gay Marriage: I believe Gays should have the same rights as straights. It's a pity that marriage is so closely tied with religion, I don't think a gay couple should force a church or someone to marry them if the church is against it -- that's stepping on a lot of faith issues(Which saddens me, I wish religions were more tolerant) but if a church agrees/wants to marry gay people, I say "YES!!!" Civil Unions is at least a step, and I am full-supporting gay marriages. Again, I am not sure this made much sense... Homosexuals are people too and everyone needs to realise that and sometimes I wish being heterosexual was wrong, so everyone would know how gays feel to be prescuted for whom they love. The end.
