i see what you mean about it "putting you to sleep", i have loads of sleeping problems and cutting just generally calms me down to the point that i can sleep, and sleep well. but i don't see doctors giving up pills and saying "just whack a couple of blades through yourself and you'll sleep like a baby". o.O

HA... I don't know what I'd do if a doctor actually told me to harm myself.
As for the sleeping pills, nobody will give them to me. For good reason.
