Stoop to using it, Mr Weasley...?
Ever thought that Seth wouldn't have used his fire magic because it was undue destruction for what he considered to not be a duel to the death?
Don't kid yourself into thinking that you've gained any more respect from Slytherins and others. A good slytherin respect everyone by default. The fact is, Seth went in there with aims towards a duel, nothing else. You brought to the table a determination to win that exemplifies every 'bad' quality of Slytherin - that I thought you were fighting against?
Try not to typecast. Some of realise that just being in Gryffindor doesn't make you a heroic saint. Only being a decent person makes you a saint.
It is a shame. A very real shame that you should feel this way. Obviously, Mr. Graves has learned his lesson and moved on. Perhaps, as his coach, you are hurt somewhat that a lowly sixth year Gryffindor could outwit a TA and former Ravenclaw. I'm sorry you feel this way at all.
I went into that duel determined to win. Because that is all Slytherin understands. Winning. There is no second place, Lathander. I would think you of all people would know that.
[sighs] Okay... Chill out. I am, I expect, as tired as you of all the sniping. I worte the comment just after you posted, before even seeing Seth, mainly because I hate poor winners as much as poor losers.
If you're making reparations with Seth, all well and good.
And I don't know what you mean by your last comment. Why would I specifically understand that there is no second place?
That dream sounded lovely! I haven't slept enough to actually dream. When I do dream...it isn't like that.
*frowns*
Anyways.
So, I'm not the only one falling asleep in their common rooms, am I? *smiles*
I'm about to send you an owl. I'm glad you did well in the dueling match but that doesn't mean that I still wasn't worried. Oh, I suppose it's okay now. I hope you realize that Seth is of no harm to you or us.
