"Is somebody singing?" Shatner asked. He had no additional thoughts on the matter.

Wait. A person. Could it be a reporter? Or did the squirrels talk? Experimentally, Miley craned her neck around the building she was hiding behind.
Oh. It was a guy, all right.
Could she trust him? Or would he just take pictures of her and sell them to whatever tabloid would have them?
Then again, he looked young and innocent. Maybe he could be trusted.
"Hey," she said, taking a few steps away from the building in Shatner's direction.
