She'd debated who to contact, what to say, but it really came down to one person she really thought she could handle seeing while her heart was dragged over glass, so she sent him a message in case he already had plans. She didn't want to just show up at his door if that was the case.

Leonard read the message, frowning. Nyota was the sort of girl who took care of herself.

If she was asking for something, or someone, that meant she really needed it.

She read the note and debated. It would probably be better if she stayed in, but if she'd wanted to stay in, she'd have just gotten a hold of Gaila or Janny. She didn't think staying in was something she really wanted to do.

After sending a quick note to Jim to let him know what was up, Leonard headed over to Nyota's dormitory. He pressed the chime, wondering what was going on that would have her in such a state.

She answered the door in a pair of jeans and a blouse, makeup carefully applied, but someone used to her would notice her eyes were red and there was something almost vulnerable about her. "Know any good dive bars where the drinks aren't watered?"
