OK - so I've avoided all the hooplah surrounding the new baby panda at the National Zoo, but the pics that came out of "Butterstick" (that's what some of the locals have dubbed him) are just too frickin' cute!!

OMFG...that is sooooo cute!!! And they named it Butterball??? lol

The only disturbing thing about it is that you know that they booted the poor bears out into the snow just to amuse Ms. Bush. She prolly had a shock collar attached to each of them in case they didn't frollic hard enough for her liking. =)

Butterstick. When the panda was born, one of the zookeepers commented that he was the size of a stick of butter. The name just stuck. Unfortunately, his real name is Tai Shan, but I prefer "Butterstick" more.
