Since this place is not exactly a province of France, I've come to the conclusion that I cannot expect a salary just for belonging to a nice old family. Pity, that.

There aren't any publishers that I've heard of, though there is a small newspaper. There are books enough, come to think of it, but no publishers.

Yes, though I'm not certain if it's still in operation. I know it was. A Miss Rose Walker was involved with it, I know--you might speak to her.

Sadly, I don't know of any publishers in the City...someone should start a publishing agency.
