[This video is quite accidental-- Digger has no idea what’s going on. Someone tall and frightening gave him this thing! He hit some buttons! And it made these noises! And he's staring at it but oh god what is this WHAT IS EVERYTHING

[Alois was slowly becoming more and more frustrated with his current situation. Digger's panic was not helping-- his diglett, however, was. He approached the small ground-type pokémon and knelt down beside it.]
And what's this odd creature doing here? [He spares a glance in Digger's direction.] ...You're much stranger.
[The Diglett looks up at Alois with slight trepidation, but tolerates his presence. Digger, on the other hand, hops nervously a foot or so away, nearly tipping over but somehow managing to keep his balance.]
I. I don't know why it's here. It keeps following me. ...What are you?
[This is gathering data! Two other things have told him they're 'human' - is this person one, too?]
[Alois chuckles as he stand up to his full height. My, Digger was awfully strange~.]
I've never seen anything as ugly as it before! I wonder if I have such a thing as well... [He looks away from the diglett and gives Digger his full attention.]
What am I? [He somehow finds the question hilarious.] What are you?
[...for reasons he can't really fathom, Digger is a little put-out about seeing the mole-thing that's been following him insulted. Really, it's been very patient, and it's stuck around longer than any of the people he's met. He can't help but frown slightly.]
Well. I don't know if you have one, but it isn't mine. It's just here. And it's not doing anything, so...
[Wait, what did he say that was so funny? Was he supposed to know? This person is confusing and kind of frightening.]
I'm a Burrowing Owl. Athene cunicularia. I mean, not at the moment, I suppose, but I'm supposed to be.
You look nothing like an owl. And I somehow doubt that you were ever one.
[He chuckles and returns his gaze to the little diglett.] I'm human.
...This thing looks incredibly stupid, especially if it just stays there and does nothing. [He raises his foot and nudges the diglett with the toe of his boot.]
What do you think it would do... if I stepped on it? [He laughs again and pulls his leg back to kick the little diglett as hard as he can.]
[The diglett, however, moreso than its confused excuse for a trainer, is not taking this shit. With all the rage a tiny brown furry mole-thing can muster, it preempts the kick with a valiant attempt to rush forward and Scratch the hell out of that oncoming leg. IT WILL NOT BE STEPPED ON.]
(ooc: ttly up to you whether or not it connects! It's tiny and only Lvl 5 anyway, so no real damage even if it does. |D)
[The other boy's pleas mean nothing to him-- but the feeling of tiny claws against the leg of his boot got his attention. He hadn't expected the little thing to retaliate, much less scratch him. ...Or "attempt" to scratch. Alois steps back and levels it with a glare.]
You think that would hurt? [If the diglett wasn't careful, Alois would make sure it knew what pain felt like.]
[ooc: |D;; This is too fun~ I'm so sorry Digger.... May Alois step on Digger's diglett?]
Please-- don't do that! It didn't do anything to you, did it? [Digger is definitely not confident enough to take on Alois himself, but he feels like he should stick up for his mole-thing.] Just leave it alone!
[The diglett, for its part, is not retreating yet-- if digletts can look angry, this one does.]
(ooc: sure thing! just pl-please don't hurt it ;~;)
