First of all, how the hell did you get so creative? You make me sick with admiration. I want a VW (Virginia..duh) is my homegirl shirt! I'd give you a bunch of dollars.

I say friend the roommate. Although that could depend on when you found out who your roommate is... if it was like, say, today, I'd say wait a day or two. But if you wait more than a week you might both just feel really awkward when you meet each other and you both know you've stalked each other on facebook and it could make things worse. I say friend no sooner than 48 hours after finding out who they are, but don't let it go for more than 7 days, personally
