[Sorry about the delay, being about a half-hour or so after he hung up on you. But as per the modus operandi of someone that direct about most things, there's no warning save for the click of the door handle as it's swung open and shut almost immediately afterwards. The person responsible for it merely leaning on it afterwards with a sigh. Circles

[Orpheus was right, Thanatos was sitting on the bed when he came in. He also might have been wibbling in loneliness as well, but at Orpheus' presence he immediately ceases doing so. He climbs out of bed causing a few kittens that were laying on him to jump off of the bed and mewl in irritation as Thanatos rushes towards Orpheus. Hope you're ready for this, Orpheus, since Thanatos is wrapping his arms around your sides in a tight hold.]

Orpheus, you're back! I missed you...

[Luckily, he was expecting it. Giving him enough time to inhale just before he clings, since it was usually always tight enough to make it hard to breathe. That, and the arms pinned on his side were of a lesser concern. But he brightened up fast enough, which is enough to bring a faint tired smile to his own face.]

I'm sure you did. Thanks for opening the door.

[Thanatos smiles in return at Orpheus' own tired smile. He also puts another squeeze into that hug before stepping back and allowing Orpheus to breathe.]

You're welcome. ... It was no problem at all. Haha, figures I'd miss you too much to keep you out!

[Still just lineface as ever as he walks by. And freezes upon locking eyes with one of the kittens. Stare. .................. Then just picking it up and holding it in one arm while petting it. Newfound appreciation for the furrballs oh yes.] You're predictable like that.
