Anchorage

That has a lot to do with the fact that I haven't left Bethel in the last 8 months since I arrived here. I haven't even been to any of the villages. I'm looking forward to eating good food. I can't believe you've already been in Bethel for 8 months. Seems like yesterday that you moved there. I hope you have a good time in Anchorage. It's not a metropolis but it will probably feel like one to you after Bethel!

Yeah, time has been flying for me here, which is good. This town is all right for what it is, and that's a prime place to make money and not spend it. I'm glad to finally see an end to my debt on the horizon. I think I'll have enough money to move as soon as my contract runs up the end of July '06. Six of my friends including my roommate are planning to move to Anchorage after their contracts run up. Honestly, that makes me want to go in another direction as I've found that jumping on bandwagons has never really done me much good...and I'm getting a little old for it. I'll just see what happens, though. Don't really know which way the wind will blow at this point. It's still early in the game. And you're right, pretty much any place would seem great to me after staring at Bethel for 8 months. I desperately need new visual stimulation.
