We picked the same day to do it because it's very stressful, and so we can proofread each other's KSAs. Oh, writing essays like that are SUCKAGE, MAJOR (trust me, after the mountain of personal statements I just did... I feel your pain -_-). Maybe you can get someone to list out some of your more than stellar skillz for you, and then you can jump from there?! Just be honest.. I find that helps.
And yeah... sometimes, you just have to go.

And yeah, I'm really, really interested in intelligence analysis and national security, like a weirdo I read the Intelligence and National Security Journal in my (nonexistent) spare time.
Both the UN and the EPA sound awesome. Congrats again on law school, it's going to be the death, but it'll be a fantastic death experience!
As far as personal statements go, I used a lot of my father's favorite Marine-isms like "motivation" and "initiative".
