That is so true, I just wish it wasn't.
I also wish that sometimes I didn't act like that.
Right now there is a lot of shit going on with people being fake, but it isn't the kind you are talking about.
They pretend to know me and be able to figure me out, but they can't.

I know what you mean. Everyone is always smiling, bottling up their real feelings. I know im guilty of that. I try not to let it show when im upset because it gets other people down. Plus, its much more fun to be happy!!!! haha!
Rathi, i know exactly what you're talking about. People think they know you and who you are before they actually get to know you. People talk behind your back and act like they know what you're all about when if they'd just take one minute, one second to actually talk to you, they'd be surprised...
but when things like that happen, always remember to not let it get to you. You know who your real friends are. You don't need a certain number of friends, just a number of friends you can be sure of.

oh my god, betsy. that was really smart! it made me think! a lot. and although we have the best of friends..some of them only act like it in front of our faces, the other times they talk behind our backs. i mean everyone does that. its really sad. i hate going through that. right now im not sure who my real friends truly are. if they hate me, or like me. i feel like some of them wear masks in front of me to try and hide their true feelings. it makes me sad how my own friends cant talk the truth to me. i dont know, i thought friends were supposed to care about you and try and tell the truth. but i guess that just isnt happening.

at least i know i have you betsy salter<3 thanks for always making me laugh, smile, and live life the way i should. our times on the bus make me sad because i miss them SO much. but we'll always have the memories, always<3
