these are things that i've thought about for quite a while, but i've always been afraid to write about them. but i've finally decided that i don't care if people don't have the words to respond, or if it's too weird to respond to. and i don't really believe in bad omens, so i don't worry about these things i'm writing coming true

i think of death in a "what dreams may come" sort of way. not the robin williams movie version, but the richard matheson book version. at the risk of sounding morbid, i think death is sort of a beautiful thing.

unless you're hitler, then you'll just get a pineapple shoved up your ass.

thanks claire :-) i've thought for a while about life, and the afterlife. i've heard a lot of christians talking about how life is good, but that it's not THAT great, because the next life is so much better.

and i agree with that, to a certain extent, but then i think about genesis and adam and the original sin. god punished adam for his sin by taking away his life. to me, then, that makes life something all the more important and sacred. like... that is a big thing that adam did, and god "avenged" that (that seems like an inappropriate verb to use, but you get the gist) by taking away the thing that was most valuable to adam.

i'm not sure i'm making sense with what i'm trying to say, and if not, i apologize. maybe if you think enough about what it is i'm trying to say, you'll understand what i'm incapable of expressing at this time :-)
