if anything, don't tell her that you don't care or that it doesn't matter...tell her it makes you feel awful and that you have not sorted out your feelings from the divorce yet so to spring this on you is making things even weirder. i don't know...when my parents got divorced and my mom started dating all hell broke loose because i was upset from the divorce in the first place and i felt like i hated my mom and hated the person she was seeing. so my mom realized she shouldn't have dated so soon after the divorce. i think parents should give their kids time to "heal their broken hearts" over a divorce before they tell them they're dating again.

how long did it take you to be comfortable with it? she didn't come home last night and didn't tell me she wasn't not coming home. it just upset me more.

why didn't you tell me you were going to tell your parents you were moving in with me? i feel out of the loop.

i don't have any advice i was too babyface when my parents split and they're both lonely.
