Cars - a review, no spoliers

Went to see Cars on Monday and can report that it is fabulous! Ignore all the critics telling you this is Pixar's first dud. It so isn't. For sure, it's not at the level of Toy Story, but it's darned entertaining.

Before I get to mentioning the characters or the plot, I have to eulogize the animation. It is astoundingly good. Remember back when

The love interest (a Porsche Carrera) is dreadfully saccharine but other than her it's kept to earable levels. But then I love sentimental old tosh so I may not be the best person to judge,
