Welcome To My Hideaway!

I finally have my own desk, my own bookshelf, and my own little place where I can hide away from the world and travel to another time or place while writing.  I just had to share it with anyone who cares, lol, so here are the pictures from my own private little space.  It's lovely compared to what it used to look like and I'm very proud of it.

This is actually pretty small. I nicknamed it "the nook" because of it's size. But to me, if feels so much more roomy than where I was using a computer. It was our hobby room and it has so much stuff in it. This was my formal dining area that we NEVER used, so I took possession and made it mine!! Muahahahaha

Isn't it neat how we all have our own little rituals when we write. I like to close the blinds and sometimes just have the light from the computer screen to illuminate my area. It does make it hard for seeing some of the stupid keys though. Haha I'm getting new blinds soon, and I think I will enjoy them even more. However, at night since I've moved into my hideaway, I do like looking out the window into the night some.
