my grandmother is dying and simultaneously losing her mind and her dignity. the man that has loved her so completely for sixty years may soon be too old to take care of her the way she needs. i worry about him the most.
she is his heart.

i'm not sure if i believe in prayer either, but every time i leave them i say enough to make up for the rest of the year.
