I mentioned to my boss that I was thinking of buying a computer, and he told me just to pick a good one and that the lab would pay for it. Apparently the faculty here has so much money coming in from grants and whatnot that they can easily write off a 1500-dollar personal computer as "miscellaneous expenses". Damn. That's awesome. The only thing I get for working at Harvard...is people thinking it's cool that I work at Harvard. haha. But I'm part-time anyway.

Yeah, and I make no effort at distinguishing myself from the students here either... Any benefits students get (discounts, exclusive access, etc) I get too...
