I saw the The Return Of The King. Okay, so maybe it was a week ago and I've been too lazy to update in a while. Anyway, I enjoyed it, though I have two minor complaints

I was pleased that they had Sam and Frodo being close to one another and everything, even holding hands at one point, but I agree that sometimes it's a little much --- it's the looks on their faces. The touching is platonic, I believe it, but the looks, oi.

That Coke ad is pretty funny. And it probably represents fairly accurately what the winner will do with the money from whatever contest it was advertising, assuming that winner's under age 50.

Shelob was okay. Not as good as I'd wished (like you said, too furry) but not bad.

And I, for one, deeply appreciated the longing stares and passionate embraces. They made me want to scream yaoi-ful things in the theatre. ;-)
