I hope you saved the ruins of the vase, I bet you could make something really cool with them - and probably all the more meaningful for your mom if you did. I once bought a Susy Homemaker oven in Athens, Georgia, shipped it back to SF, where it arrived in pieces. I cried. Ask Johnny how pathetic I can be sometimes.
