10 after 10 in the city
and all i can do is think of you

afternoon naps under the summer sun on the coast

i don't want to grow up
i just want to sit by the window everyday reading harry potter
feeling the sun on my head and hearing the sounds of the city

i don't want to worry anymore

sitting on the carpet eating corn and watching mtv live around the world

driving round the city
diy projects
just business

it's all coming full circle

currently putting together a book on my bedroom floor

i'm making shadow puppets against my closet wall
soft summer sun streams through broken windows

i'm feeling a pull towards something bigger than me
i miss you.

i want to shut down the city for a year
just so it's me and my biggest fear

it's okay to tell yourself the truth

a 36 degree day on the city by the sea
heat rises from the pavement through-out the day
but as the sun sets and the heat settles
wind picks up
most mysterious
blowing wind through open doors and windows
but not a breeze
a true wind
stirring up something great but un-determined

i'm seeing faces of other people in mirrors
somehow this is all

the most bizarre thing:
a wind storm in the city in summer
