so i saw the pixies last night, wasnt too into it before hand, the first half of the show was alright, the second was much better, alot of songs off of doolittle and they played wave of mutalation twice which was pretty cool, one slow acoustic version and one rockin version

been there about losing motivation...even in various/all aspects of life. BLAH.

books...you probably'vefound one already. otherwise, douglas coupland's "life after god" is short and amazing. or going back to jane austen, "northanger abbey" is a gothic novel that mocks gothic novels!
